we had local elections too....I debated jumping parties to vote against several insane front runners and bolster a boring yet, possibly sane candidate who hasn't yet dropped out... but the primaries here are really weird. You can choose which party to vote for but.... If the candidate i voted for got less than 20% of the total vote, my vote would get counted towards the person with the most votes overall not worth risking my vote going towards candidates that are crazy.

OMG.
Last night after I said "goodnight", a bit later there was this loud "pop" and everything in my computer went dark.
The power supply blew (figuratively).
So this morning (during the end of the snow storm, on bad roads), I'm driving out to Best buy to get a new PSU. Luckily they had one. Luckily after I installed it, the systems SEEMS to be working OK. (PSU failures can blow things "down stream" on the mobo.) So so far so good.

I'll catch up later. If I should vanish for a while, don't fret...it's hardware/lack of internet.
