I think those small windows around the lower level are for archers to use while defending...guessing.

My goodness. Saw the police and ambulance down at my neighbor's this morning. Turns out Grandma passed away. She looked at her daughter and said "Turn on the air conditioner and open a window", then turned her head and died. Very sudden. They just lost their precious dog on March 25th, who was only 8. I feel so bad.....
Wind acting up here, and it's time for a nap!
Pardon my late check-in today.
Sheba and Oreo were waiting at the back door this morning.
They started picking up the mess next door. Despite below-freezing wind chill and
occasional very light snow flurries, I went out with a rake and bag... pseudo-putzing
in the yard. Too windy to actually do any raking.
Annnnd... I asked "que pasa"? Grandson WILL be buying the house... in October. Glad
it's not being sold to anybody who may turn it into a rental. Glad I'll be spared one more
Summer without kids (he has 2, about 5 and 6).
But the super-grand icing on the cake: The monster-mutant maple is a-coming DOWN.
Now, I am waiting before doing a Happy Dance. He still needs to get estimates. He
still needs to hire somebody. And the tree still has to actually SEE a saw. Hell... he
STILL needs to buy the house. So, I do not know if it's supposed to come down this
year, or next. Or when. But the words "it's coming down" was sweet music to my ears.
