    Help question...

I have a Provari and have been using button-top 18650 batteries. I ordered
a few flat-top 18650s... and guess what... they do not work. :(

I don't get it... the battery is making contact on both ends.

Is there a safe "hack" to allow flats to work in a Provari (or ANY device, for
that matter)? (And yes, I have done a CURSORY search on ECF.)
    Good morning Bear :)

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think flat tops will work for a ProVari

    morning, bear! ;)

found in an early provari thread:

    ''No. From the Provape website:
We recommend only using AW IMR high drain batteries in your ProVari Mini
You must use batteries that have a positive button on the top. Flat top batteries will not work. Using magnets on top of your batteries will void the warranty.

are you sure you want to go that way? maybe it's better to see if you can trade those flat tops :?:
... or spend money on a mod that takes the flats ... and buy button tops for
the Provari. Fine. I'll buy a Cuboid (been looking at them).

What the hell. An 18650 should be an 18650 should be an 18650. If they
NEED to be different, then give them a different number. Imagine if AA
and AAA batteries had a difference like that.
