That's what it means, Bear. Basically, cig-a-likes are grandfathered in. Maybe a mod or two in the "also-vaporizes-leaf" category. It's disastrous. There's (I think) an approval process for other devices though. I can't imagine that there could never be a new device, only that you have to jump through million-$ hoops to get it approved.
Note that Big-tobacco has mostly produced cig-a-likes and are all "primed" for this, or can afford the approval.

The vilification continues...today's main headline...poisonings up 1500 percent compared to when e-juice didn't even exist. So obviously, the FDA will need to regulate it. ;)

Last night's headline...Congressman/Senator in NY says we have to get e-cigs off the market because they explode..."ticking time bomb".

no, since there is supposedly that 2yr time frame to get authorization ....
And the FDA can take up to 1 year to approve/deny the PMTA. So, if somebody
waited until (2years-1day) to file, can the product still be sold until such time
the PMTA is approved/denied... another year... making the entire timeframe
just under THREE years?

Anyone experiment with NETs?

What if, in the future, there's no e-juice base and my stash in the freezer runs out? I don't want to go back to burning the tobacco, nor do I really enjoy the pharma-nic (patches are a pain, and other stuff irritates the stomach). So...I suppose e-cig with NETs is a possibility if it works.

I know, I know...there's threads. I just wonder if anyone here has thought about it. I'm NOT paying $3.00 or more for a little 1/2 day cart on a cig-a-like. That puts me back at $6.00 per day (guesstimate).

Heather's Heavenly Vapes has lots of NETS but I don't know much about them.
Probably has most of the WTA (whole tobacco alkaloids) in it too. But basically, the "non-chemist-shop" methods of extracting stuff from tobacco.
    By definition, would taste tobacco-ish.
I have 2 of HHV's NETs. And yes, VERY tobacco-ish. I plan on trying more as the
two I have are "pipe tobacco-ish" and not really my preference. I don't want the
"cigar tobacco-ish" stuff either. Will need to look for "cigarette tobacco-ish"
flavours. But HHV does not include pipe/cigar/cigarette in the descriptions.

    G'mornin, snails!

Have any of you been to Portillo's in the Chicago area? I was able to get me chocolate cake shake (wanted an italian beef sammich, but it was already 10:30pm) this weekend after missing previous opportunities.

Hectic First Communion + Mother's Day weekend. :)

    here we go again! ;)

:D There will be another pretty soon... when the west coast wakes up. :D

I ordered 6 flat tops from ^ ... and sent an eMail if they would substitute
2 of the 6 to be comparable button tops. (Found out about the flat tops
after the order was placed. I'm not usually a PITA like that, but no harm
    in asking.)
