Looking for a well built small mod ? the ipv D2 isn't much bigger than an 20 w istick, they weigh a bit more but are built like a tank battery can be charged in or out and a plus is they do temp control if wanted :)

atty knows and can ;) but assumes that chips won't be available
It's actually just 5x easier to buy a mech and fuse it.

But...generic voltage regulators are super-easy and not e-cig specific.
Then there's adjustable ones...still not too bad.

Then there's the e-cig specific "mod" modules...those I don't expect to be around long if the FDA tries to control them. Maybe they can sell them as flashlight and/or gadget modules or something instead of e-cig modules (the DNA ones).

I'm super out-of-date on this stuff. Mech is a lazy way out. And any of the non-mech mods recommended above are fine too. But I don't expect they will last for decades...(if I even vape that long)

I know people hate them, but don't forget vent holes next time. That's another thing...

IDK why they don't put them in more mechs and just cover them with replaceable water-proof stickers to keep the water out. So they'd blow out instead of blowing the connectors+topper into people's faces.
