Never punched a carto. Don't intend to....leak shy. There's so many "full" tanks on the market now, many with RTA/RBA-whatever coils.

I went pretty much straight to the sub-tank mini from the Evods.

Just stay away from the whole carto-punch thing Katmar, unless you're sitting on a gross of free cartos.

Obsolete tech. Just buy the bigger cartos they have now (that are disposable tanks).

It did somewhat I did mine with boiling distilled then PGA about 20 at a time

They used to take standard cartos and "make them hold more" by putting a tank around them. They'd punch a hole in the side for the juice to soak into the material inside. Had o-rings around the carto to try and stop leaks.

I never understood why they didn't just make a bigger carto. Then they did, with wicks instead of fluff-filler. Those are clearos. And some have replaceable coils.

So, unless you're sitting on a bunch of free old-style cartos that you want to use and want a tank for, just get the clearos.
