Yep, and I was. Back now.
GF and I took a mini-vacay and did a trip to Chicago.
Several restaurants (mostly cliche stuff because we didn't bother bringing any fancy attire)
Shedd's aquarium.
A play at a small community theater (very good play).
Train trips there and back from Indiana so we didn't have to drive/park in the city. Spend some $$$ on cabs, but meh, better than driving in the madhouse there. Train trip was OK, standard commuter stuff...upgraded above ground subway. IDK if they classify it as "the El" or not since it goes all the way to Indiana, but seats are better than you'd find on a subway. Good prices to get across town, under $10.00 for adult, seniors are under $5.00. Cab would be $15 or so just to cross the city, not counting going all the way to Indiana...so you'd want a bus or that train.
We didn't get the see the parks, museum, planetarium, etc. We almost went to a jazz club, but both of us were pretty tired at that point, maybe some other time.

@CES...I"d hang on to those, I'll bet you'll find a use for those batteries sometime...most mechs of the future-black-market will use them.
