That's beautiful, Tibs. :)

Is that pine-needle ground cover, or mulch? Do you have it delivered by the truckload? Natural and just cleaned up? Inquiring minds want to know! Looks like lots of work to keep it that neat. :)

gave up on mulch, atty! those are the natural pine needles that come down on a steady basis ;) i'll take a picture later on to show what it looks like before it's cleaned up :shock:
and yup! lots of work - i never forget dh's remark before buying that clean-up would be a cinch because there aren't many leaves to rake :lol:

that's beautiful. you and your workers have done a fantastic job. don't fret over the backyard. you know you enjoy the accomplishment.

It's like Highlander....there can be only one. :D (that's a somewhat-obscure movie reference, if you know the movie)

obscure? one would have to have been living under a rock not to know that reference. Highlander is part of American culture... isn't it?:D I swear I've seen a piece of that movie every week for the last 20 years as I am channel surfing. And I only watch tv, on average, about 1 hour daily--other than sports.

p.s. you'll be able to see the red planet tonight without a telescope... assuming you don't have a cloudy sky.
