"Good Morning Starshine" is/was a "hippie" song?!?! (Yes, I know which play it's from.)
I'd categorize it as something a bit BELOW "bubblegum".

Yeah, but my younger (late) brother was a retro-musician stuck in the 60's era. I was inundated with Dead-Head music and other stuff for DECADES. He could have been in a good cover band for the G.D. ...good bass player.
Anyway, I remember (barely) "hippies" and bell-bottom jeans. Born in 64, so age 6 in 1970. And of course hippies didn't just "disappear" in 1970...

Hubs has a job in the garage but hubs is sick. His helper friend gave him the nasty cold and cough he got from his kids.

My blue fronted screeched. He never could carry a tune OR whistle. I thought all birds knew how to whistle....

Went to Keene for hubs prescription but there was a dosage change and it wasn't ready. No way hubs is making the 40 mile round trip again. He's gone to hopefully take a nap.
