I need to know what each one MEANS, too? I am vapetech stupid!
D means you use it for dripping.
T means it's used in a tank.
That RBA one is just a grammatical mess, I believe.

@daleron : Correct me, please, if in error.

I'm waiting to read what you have to say re:
    • RDA
    • RTA
    • RBA

...just to see if I got it right. I'm willing to learn!
I'll use images of things I actually have...

    RDA - Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer:
Shallow deck, must wet the wicking often

    maxresdefault.jpg

    RTA ... Rebuildable Tank Atomizer:
Combination of dripper and tank, the best for what is coming (IMO)

    RBA ... Rebuildable Atty
Used to replace the push & play coils in a tank, works like your purchased coils but you have to build it.

    Hope that helps?

Thanks, Dale. It does help. Are the RTAs easy to build? And can I replace the tip?
I think I got an RBA Triton in one of my "crazy hurry up and buy stuff" binges....

Why is there no subforum for "RBA"s?

ReGardless... (guess you'd abbreviate that RG, yes?), RTAs have an attached tank.
    Got it.

Still remain totally uninterested in dripping despite any cost savings. Too much
work and fiddling and busy-ness for *me*.

The RTA or RBTA (as they are sometimes called) are IMO the easiest to work ... that would be like the Avocado, second image. Yes, you can replace the drip tip on the Avocado ... not all of them without an adapter tho'.
The Triton RBA is the most difficult for me because it is so small.

On a totally unrelated note. Another in the long list of things that make me
cringe... when people and ESPECIALLY the manufacturing companies themselves
refer to the TANK as the ATTY. Here is just one example:

    Untitled-1.jpg

That is NOT the atomizer. That is the TANK.

The atomizer is INSIDE the tank and can be removed. It's not all one piece.

    There. Vented.

    Understood :)
Generally I'll only drip to test flavors ... the RBTA I want to have in case we are unable to purchase coils in the future. Plus I just like having that control and learning that skill ;)
