Hi Sam, nice to meet ya.
I used to be a regular here, now i just pop in now and then. stoopid real world.
fingers crossed here too. they're laying the block now. the contractor didn't order quite enough ( something about not expecting to have to dig 7 foot deep footers.
) so once they run out, they wait for the next delivery and weather permitting they'll be back on Thursday or Friday. Framers scheduled for early next week. Since the house was built in 1895, there aren't many actually square corners, plumb walls, or level floors, so it also took 'em awhile to figure out which not square part of teh house to line the new foundation up with. sigh. mom and beasties are good. we're walking every morning, and she's pretty well settled. it's been really good to have her around!

pretty sure ces just did a hit and run only and is now concentrating on how to best torture her students!D
the semester is over, so now i have to get caught up on data analysis and stuff i couldn't get to during the semester... taking a break from filling out a large spreadsheet. boooring....my undergrad students won't be back until mid-june, so i might get some stuff done LOL.

I'm really hoping it's done before i leave for the island in mid-July.isn't it almost time for the island though?
