Good Last-Weekday-Again to all Snails! 
Stopping by to say a long-overdue "HI".
Deck floor and railing tops stained. I will tackle the posts and spindles
over the next month. Main goal accomplished.
The 5th Retirement Anniversary flew by (last week) totally ignored.
Must mean the "past life" is pretty much totally forgotten. Yay!
Plumbers did their thing on Monday, but had to come back Tuesday
and re-"sweat" one joint. Cannot say I really like the low-flow shower
head. Claims that it will save money are rebutted by the fact showers
now take longer.
Oh... and the shutoff valves went in the closet access space. Tibs won.
Mr. Money Man says our next meeting will focus on 2019... and Social
Security
. I really AM as old as dirt now, huh? And depending
on what happens with health care (insurance), we may also need to
make plans for that (2018 and beyond until Medicare). All this talk of
old folks stuff ... where did the time go?!
Lawn now in 2-mowings-per-week mode. That usually lasts until the
first couple weeks in June. Like there are not OTHER things to do.
The 18th is the first leg of The Annual Run Of The Annuals... need to
get the shopping list ready.
40 more days until daylight begins to decrease. Just thought I'd mention
that. Winter is coming up fast.

Today is cleaning day for us, too. ....Back couldn't take much more of the reaching and bending anymore so I hired a helper; actually she's doing everything..what a massive relief, and my back is thanking me!
Got called in early for MRI, so that's out of the way

Chemical stress test is next. Tuesday at 7:30am. Not looking forward to it, but they say it has improved since my last one in 07. Sure hope so!!!
