Well, office called to tell me there is no fracture! I'm definitely going to a new doctor because of her diagnosis without the diagnostics to back her up. She scared the h*** out of both of us! I'd rather suspected it wasn't as serious as she claimed, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to walk. Yes, I still have pain in the rib area, so will seek help with that with my orthopedic.

. Recuperation is going slow, but I expected that, due to the nature of the surgery. I have little improvements every day that I journal to encourage me when I feel like I'm not making progress. I see that I am, just not swiftly. Follow-up with surgeon is on June 13 and PCP on the 15th. Thanks for checking in on me. As far as strength, that, too, is coming back very slowly, but I know I will get there. It really has only been one week and one day, so, all in all, I am recovering. Inch by inch......Tibs, I think you'd be surprised at just how far a cat will travel on its journey. I still hold out hope she will return!!
