Wow. I just received a prerecorded robo-call. I couldn't quite make out the caller-id when I picked up the phone, but it was a recorded message and I hung up on it.

Going back and checking the ID...it said "ILLEGAL SCAM" and then the number! Maybe someone is preempting these buttheads and changing the callerID??? Detecting a spoof of the callerID system?

IDK. A google search produced mixed results with no conclusive answers. But it was cool to see that someone is starting to take action against these buttheads.

We have a very un-summer like 67 degrees. The trees are staring to turn and people are closing up their pools.Sure hope we have better weather for camping.
Do you mean turn COLOR?... or turning to show the undersides of the
leaves (aka: storm a-brewing)??? (*)

VERY warm and VERY humid here. :(

(*) - See, I would believe a TREE before ANY of the weather guessers.
Trees KNOW.

I hope you do too.

Speaking of pools: I forgot to mention, the GF accepted a bit on her house Sunday. Big pool in back. Just in time. We had some warm weather that weekend. :)

It was on the market for about 3 days. Bam. She had 45+ at the open house. IDK how many offers came in...several. She ended up 15K above asking price.

We put A LOT of work into making sure it was all set, and there's more work to do after closing moving all her stuff.

    Where's she moving to? :?:
She temporarily moved to her Son's house (who has pets and spare room) while this is going on.
She'll be "moving back" today, I think, for a while.

Then, since she's going insane at her son's place, she's looking for maybe an apartment or condo-to-buy. They have a set of condos that can be built-to-order too, but they end up being insured like mobile-homes even though they're houses, so not that there's anything wrong with either, but she's not 100% sure what she's getting into with this pre-fab type of build. And she'll have to add a storm-shelter for tornado-proofing (no basement).

Moving in here isn't likely for several reasons, although I did live there (the house she's selling) for several years. So we can manage it.
