Let's see... what else...
I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with a rep from eBay last night.
I wanted to know why a couple listings kept getting the "not allowed"
message when clicking the SUBMIT button. (THIS may sound familiar
from last year.)
They kept telling me that such items are not allowed as per eBay rules.
I kept telling them that there are hundreds of thousands of such listings
currently active on eBay.
They kept replying with (paraphrasing) "we get millions of new listings
per day and it's impossible to monitor all of them".
Then why are/is MINE getting the axe???
I suggested the rep go to the main eBay screen and do a search for a
four-letter word (familiar to ALL of us here) and see what happens.
THIS is what I see:
"137,650 results for v***".
THIS is what I see: "48,334 results for s***".
...and so on and so forth.
I opined that a simple keyword search on THEIR part would make cleaning
up their listings a very simple matter and would easily enforce THEIR rules.
Either that, or please allow me to unload a few items... I'm not a vendor
with hundreds of things to sell.
THEY have a script and BOY do they stick to it.
Jerks.
