, but only for a short while. I walked in from the beach a few moments ago--it was absolutely beautiful with hardly a soul--and i'm having lunch. Time to get a move on and start packing.
No Gas! I went out to see if I could top my tank off--NOPE! I went to 3 gas stations and they were all sold out. I have enough gas to get me at least 275 miles down the road. A full tank gets me 325 miles. It shouldn't take me more than a hour to pack up, less the computer. I decided to have a filet for dinner. It was in the freezer and if power goes out while I'm gone that will be one less loss i'll have. I'm really looking at this as I won't be back.

Yep, seen that one. I'm going to end up going thru all of this *&#@ and this area will probably get hard rain and enough wind to fly a kite. Oh well, Atlanta bound tomorrow by 6am.

About 2 months. Losing a week won't kill me, but if this place is destroyed or uninhabitable for the foreseeable future, i'm out thousands of dollars.
