yup, seriously delayed but i made it! 
Running late tonight.

Just about to hop on an expressway (on the way home from Dad's) and
there's a *KLUNK!* *drag drag drag klunk klunk drag drag drag*.
Pulled over and saw an exhaust pipe had come off the manifold.
It's always something... if it's not one thing it's another.
Called AAA... waited a bit... and the guy ended up just removing the
entire from-manifold-to-exhaust piece. I still have the OTHER half
(it's a dual exhaust), but it's still loud. So, need to have the piece
reattached at some point. Soon.
It's a Borla system with a 15-year complete warranty. I'll just send them
the repair invoice... they'll reimburse me. Just have to take it to the
place that installed it back in '08.
