Speaking of flooring and other house stuff....GF has gotten an apartment (townhouse type) and we're now ready to move the contents of her house. I have two weeks for her and I to get it done. Anything the two of us can't do will have to be hired muscle....her son has a hernia and her grand-kid is not available. So that pretty much leaves her and I, unless we pester friends and we'll probably just hire it done.

Anyway, I'll be sporadically available for the next two weeks. Not that I've been flying by in the middle of the day anyway, but if I don't post for a day (because I collapsed) don't be surprised.

have fun checking the 'broadwalk' - hopefully, it won't be deserted with everyone being busy cleaning out freezers!

internet and cable just came back. Yay!!!! Freezer and refrig. are done. now for kitchen floor and bathroom. dark clouds have moved in... so i'm not feeling too bad about being inside cleaning. I am a reformed clean-a-holic, but I do have my moments. I cleaned hotel suites while in college, and based on how this placed was cleaned before I got here, I would have been fired--Immediately. ty for your wonderful emails, but 25 since yesterday afternoon may be pushing the limit of Pepper's patience. have a great day, beautiful.

The beach was smokin' hot... how I like it. they were grading the beach after the erosion from the hurricane. all in all, it was pretty much the same as before the storm. off to replenish the fridge and freezer.

i imagine gracie took one look and figured she'd have been better off staying away! cleaning up after a storm can be heartbreaking especially for someone like gracie who puts her heart and soul into her plants and flowers

Went and visited a friend who just moved back into the area. Was wonderful to see her.
But, not feeling well this evening. Will pass, but gonna shut down early. Not even Netflix tonight!!
