I was but not anymore. the dang phone rang.
but it was my dad, so it wasn't all that bad. he turns 81 on Thursday. he volunteers at 2 hospitals 2-3 x's a week. he's almost at 5000 hours, so he's pushing it to make it by the end of the year. only a handful of people have made it to that level. I know that information wasn't necessary, but my fingers kept typing.Hi,Pepper

Kudos to your dad, Pepper. My dad was a volunteer at the VA for over 38 years, several times a week. He served in WWll, saw an awful lot of action, was second wave in on Normandy. He was a hero and MY hero. Colon cancer took him in 95, and he never lost his sense of humor or his sense of duty to his fellow soldiers. Thanks for reminding me of what a great man he was, as is your dad, and I hope your dad makes it to 5000 hours with time to spare

I'm fairly certain that it is a universal truth one should not barbeque chicken with barbeque sauce in white shorts or anything white. I thought I could buck the trend.
I was totally conscience about what I was doing. I made every effort not to get any barbeque sauce on the white shorts. It didn't work. Dang it!!! I don't know how it happened. I made every effort not to get barbq sauce on them. I have now hand washed them and I am now wearing black shorts... like I should have been doing while cooking. Let Pepper be a lesson to you.
