Morning,Mad and aggies
Isn't this the time of year that you usually get a truckload full of new wood?Too dang humid already for firewood duty but I got 1 load. I'm now on my last row and it's a shorter one as it comes up under the boards going across the top front of the shed. So,in short,I'm almost done.

New York State's Cell Phone Law. The use of any hand-held cellular phone while driving is prohibited
on any New York road. Anyone who violates this law will be issued a traffic violation which will carry a
fine of up to $150.

"Up to".
That's like our DSL service that says "up to 12mb/s" service... and our complaints of <1 mb/s go
ignored and - probably - laughed at. 1mb/s is TOTALLY within the parameters of "up to"
12mb/s.
But I digress...
My question... is there a LEGAL reason they cannot make that fine something like $1,000, or more?
$5,000??? $10,000? I mean, if they are SERIOUS about it... why NOT???
The same goes for ANY fine... the current ones are nothing more than a nuisance and easily
covered by most people. Why can't they make the fines MUCH steeper?
it's only 3pm and I've had a full day. Hope ur making the best of yours.
