Snails - Response on Threads Part 8

G'mornin, snails...

I'll take these temps (50°- 80°F) for as long as it lasts! Love how my electric bill has basically been cut in half and no heater means low gas bill until the high is below 60°F or thereabouts.

I'm pretty sure you all already knew how relatively young I am, but my 25th High School reunion is this weekend. It'll be interesting, for sure. I so look forward to telling people I haven't seen for decades why I'm not married and don't plan on it.

    Without going into too many details...all I hear is that marriage is work. Both of my older siblings have "broken their vows" and we're so similar my chances of success are slim to none. It's not that I'm overly religious, but I'd rather be at my current level of happiness than have to deal with a train wreck of an emotional rollercoaster only to ultimately fail (as have all of my past relationships).

    My accidents and surgeries have taught me quite a lot about perspective.
