It became apparent during "scouting calls" to local interior-refresh
places that flooring is not a specialty for those who do wallpaper
removal, wall prep and painting. They ALL sub-contract that part
out even though it's a typical small 1960's bathroom. So, going out
this morning to three places that do flooring. One is at ONE end
of the county... the other at the OTHER end... and one in the
middle but WAY south. :: sigh :: Picking up some samples, then
will set up times for each to come out, scope the project, give an
estimate.
I'll follow up on THIS later... or tomorrow AM.

Sorry about this c/p guys, but just couldn't type it out all over again.....but, here is the update on my man!
**********************************************

Okay we went to the cardiologist earlier todahy with Peter and this time I went with him. For whatever reason/s, he insisted I do not go with him to his earlier appointments, but then after each appointment he said oh I wish you were there to remember half of what he said. I could say something funny here but I'm not in a very funny mood right now but I'll get over it like I get over everything else. :)

Since two of his sisters suffered strokes within three weeks of one another back in August, the logical step would to be test his carotid, right off the getgo, for goodness sake!!!! DUH. His lungs are clear so that ruled out walking pneumonia.
At one point my dear man made the comment that three of his women were sick in the hospital so his stress factor had to be through the roof. That type of stress would make anyone ill.

Bottom line is the 24th he will have an echo Doppler contrast along with carotid Doppler the very next day on the 25th. He will also undergo a stress test. Now all of this will be done within a two-day span because they finally see the seriousness of his symptoms. No, doctors, it wasn't his back, he was short of breath and while the back could have been a factor, the first line of defense, with a heart patient who has had three heart attacks is to check the heart and carotid artery ! Another DUH.
His cardiologist saw the fire in my eyes and became very attentive and answered each of my questions to my satisfaction.

My anger has surfaced on this post and I apologize for that!
Now I need to get rid of this anger and turn it into something productive like taking care of my man.

Atty, I've looked further into the Krack situation. It affects WPA2 encryption; however, as long as you are visiting a site that uses https, it's probably not a problem. the problem is the hackers could introduce a fake site in your wifi connection, and if you connect to that and enter any of your private information it could/will be hacked. Most companies have already issued a patch for this... I can't believe Verizon hasn't, but I am going to check; the real question is whether the router is updated. The other suggestion was to change from WPA2 to a different service, but no suggestions were given or how to do it. I know there is much more to this, but I think this gives a brief synopsis.
is your wifi that strong or are you that close that others could log in? :?:

(((HUGS))) to Gracie and DH. Do not apologize. You are entitled to your anger! I'm glad they are acting and doing these tests. If they come back okay, INSIST on a CT scan of chest and abdomen. Lungs may SOUND clear, but that doesn't mean there can't be something brewing there if his other tests are negative. I have a feeling, though, that it will be heart related and CAN be treated. Will keep him in my thoughts and sending loving vibes to you both!!!:wub:

Good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for ALL !!!:)

Bear, would you want Amazon to take over Wegmans? It's not that I ever went to Whole Foods, or even know about their 365 stores, but I guess opinions are mixed...*shrug*
I do not know enough about Amazon take-overs to make a comment.
My uneducated guess is that ANY rumbling about a Wegmans buy-out
would be met with a great amount of backlash.
