Good morning all.

getting very close to done on the addition- waiting on plumber to connect water to new sinks and some other assorted stuff...and teh electrician to put in the lights and switches and stuff. outlets for teh washer and dryer in their new location will be greatly appreciated- we've been without for several weeks now.

Hope all y'all are well. I've been slammed recently, and when i have gotten caught up i've been staying away from the computer.

Former Homie Justin Verlander is pitching for the Astros. And since they're more "East Coast" than L.A., I'm going to have to root for them, just out of principal. Sorry Tweety, no offense. But fear not, Tweety! The Vegas bookies are favoring the Dodgers over the Astros.

And 538 agrees, giving the Dodgers a 55% to Astros 45% chance. Now, anyone that has watched any baseball knows that these are two great teams and that odds this close don't mean a heck of a lot at this point. So I'm going to root my .... off for the Astros anyway (like I said, on principal).

And one more interesting thing: Kershaw (Dodgers) is a Southpaw and younger than Verlander. Verlander is right-handed.
And of course there's other pitchers too, I just mention them since they're the top-paid players. Let's see who earns his keep. (And when...in what games, how it goes, etc....)
