I was offered a position to remain with the firm for as long as either party sees fit.
I haven’t formally accepted it yet, but there would have to be something I strongly disagree with or dislike for me not to by the deadline. I actually found out ahead of time...actually, first thing in the morning and over the phone where any and all could hear me. It was so difficult to keep it under wraps; especially since I was the last person of the day to meet with HR!
I know I should be happier that I wasn’t let go, but I was really looking forward to being under new management. My boss and boss’s boss will remain the same.
Anyway, TGIF and have a good weekend...I now have to focus on the whole wedding thing!
