Good morning, Fran, Tibs, Kat, Dale, Bear (OBG....not sure he is here yet)

:: drama alert ::

It's always something...

Better than 'it's always nothing!' :)

Regardless, hope you get car matters remedied soon!

Do it real soon Bear the cold air rushing in when you shut off the engine can warp valves :2c:
Now that I actually skootched under to look, that air would have to
travel through a hot "main" muffler, pipe, catalytic converter,
manifold, and then engine.

What detached was a pipe from the "main" muffler to the secondary
muffler, it, and then tailpipe. Looks like it can repaired easily with
a new sleeve of some sort. But that's just me... it COULD take hours
and hours and hours. :glare:

G'mornin, snails!

Zuzu has become picky with food again...I don't know if it's cuz I'm doing something different routine-wise or she's not feeling right. LevLev has also started playing with the water bowl again, so I know something's up.

Why isn't there a Rosetta Stone that teaches you how to speak and understand Cat?!?! :p

ROFL...I was staring at a picture of one, contemplating buying it, but was feeling overwhelmed. My, what a good memory you have, Mr. Bear....
I just recalled somebody writing about it, so searched back in Part 7
and you popped up.

I still do not "get" the tank being UNDER the atty. But what do I know?

There's "bottom coil" and "TOP coil" designs, if that's what you mean.

Good morning snails. :)

@Katmar make sure you start low and dial-up the voltage too...to avoid burning. Although it sounds like a wicking issue.

Good luck at the dentist Tibs!

Yep, that's what I did, now that you mention it. Or, rather, DIDN'T do. I forgot to dial it down. Fortunately, I think I caught it quickly. Thanks for the reminder.

I've done the same thing a time or three, and fortunately, I caught it on time, too! One of the reasons I am partial to the GS coils. If that happened with another type of coil, it would have been trashed!

What, no cat whisperer nearby?

What don't you "get" Bear?
The wick runs down into the tank and wicks the liquid up to the coil :?:
