Out sick yesterday, but found out mid-morning that my dad will be undergoing open-heart surgery next Monday; single bypass, I think.
I gotta give that stubborn ess-oh-bee kudos though. He didn't trust his treadmill stress test that he pushed to 158 or thereabouts, so he insisted on the next level test that turned up at least one spot of hypo-kinesia. The next test with the dye showed 4 spots with 90% blockage!
If you want self-driving cars and such nowadays, fine...but push for Star Trek medical tricorders, too!
SO relieved it was caught early. And he was going to go on yet another medical mission in a couple of weeks!!!
