I need to check-in here more often. :(

A late-ish "Good Morning" to everybody!

..........

@Katmar , OF COURSE your scan came back clean! You GOT this
one, girl! :) I totally get the pre-procedure anxiety. VERY much
the same way.

..........

@MadOzodi , wishing your Dad a speedy recovery and discharge from
the hospital. Parental concern... it's always there in one form or
another.

..........

@FranC and @Flowersoul , you two have the "spouse/partner worry"
thing to handle. Strength to THEM, and strength to YOU to get
through the problems together.

..........

(I'm sure I'm missing something else... will need to read back again.)

..........

It's pretty boring on my end of things. I'm sure Ty-Grr's age is coming
into play, but he's been "passing" on going outdoors and parking his self
on a sofa electric blanket. Clare prefers the indoors, and that's fine by
me. Oreo and Sheba have been good about being there more often.

And me?... I come here and post about the cats.

YES, you DO need to check in more often. Don't you know I HATE not seeing any posts from you????? :-x:wub:
Yes, those of us who go through it every several months call it scanxiety. In fact, I read somewhere that the word scanxiety will soon be in the dictionary. And the definition will read: "IT SUCKS!!!".. But, I'm great right now, and that's all that counts! :p
Glad Ty-Grr is staying warm and comfy. He's earned it, and kudos to Smart Clare. Also glad Oreo and Sheba are checking in more often.

    morning, mr bear! :)

snowfall approaching 3'' here and supposed to last into the evening :?:
Wonder if you're getting what we had yesterday. It was nasty. Today, I just look out at it. Better than being IN it. Sun is out, too. :)

Whoopsie...it's hard to keep track to whom I give dad-updates. He's fine and apparently recovering more quickly than expected. Also, a slightly disconcerting number of the nurses caring for him are his former patients and/or worked with him in the hospital when he was still operating and doing rounds...

    Payback, dad...payback.

ONLY as an anecdote (since everybody is different)...

My Dad had unexpected triple bypass in '11 or '12... he was 82 or 83. On
Thursday. He was sent home Saturday. (He swears it was Sunday, but
but I know it was Saturday.) He barely broke a sweat.

I can only hope - when my turn comes - that I have some of his recuperative
genes. He's amazed me quite a few times over the years.

It wasn't on hubs most wanted things to do list but he's gone out to plow at least some of his 5 plowing jobs. 3 are down the big hill, one is up the road from us. Don't know if he'll do the one down the road from us. Just hope he has no problems.

Wood duty in the snow was fun. Several trips to the shed but I have a reasonable pile now. I cleaned off the car and put it in the garage too. It will be dark when we have to leave in the morning.
