Actually, I'm the last one giving my dad any grief. The man didn't give me any during any of my multiple convalescences, so I gots ta treat him the samesies. I just find out stuff through my sister, who "complains" to me after being informed by my mom, to which I reply, "So, what do you want me to do?"

Well, I got my fun little air cast on. Takes some getting used to. The guy that fitted me said to titrate up on it....lol....in other words, don't wear it all day for the first few days, and same thing when I stop wearing it. Reason is your opposite side is a little lower and needs to adjust both ways....Lucky me!!! My opposite side is already short from hip replacement.
Why don't they just give ya a sock insert for the opposite foot to compensate for the thickness diff?
I think you then get into a problem of is it thick enough? too thick? Pain in the ..... I got used to it before, I will again.
