Sending warm - literally! - well-wishes to everybody!

All the house doors are open for business today. Just for one
day, but good to get some fresh air circulating.

Ty-Grr is actually spending more than just 5 minutes out there.

Keeping eyes out for the "event" details, but no word yet from
anybody or the newspaper.

Cutting this short for now... gotta keep momentum going with
some indoor stuff.

 to all and yours.

Speaking of Doctors, I ran across this article and posted comments in the healthcare thread OUTSIDE!. But I'm mentioning it here, since it features U of A, and our @CES might be interested.

Her Various Symptoms Seemed Unrelated. Then One Doctor Put It All Together.
Interesting read! I just love when I read an article about a doctor who won't quit till he finds the answer..........most times, the docs script a med and that only increases all sorts of negative results and affects the emotional well being of the patient.
I'm drawn to functional medicine........

Oh, I'm back from my podiatrist, and there is no osteomalitis! Very happy!!!

And I'm back from my podiatrist, physical therapy and possible injection later. Achille's tendinitis, with bone spurs and cysts. Does NOT want to do surgery!!
    So happy for you, Gracie!!!

Find a non-medieval one? I mean, at least drain the cysts, right?

My new podiatrist does not want to do surgery either.....tells me it is the last resort.........I'm impressed with his opinion especially since my last guy jumped at surgery and did more damage than good.

You sure do have a sundry of painful stuff goin on there, Kat.......hope you can find some relief!

The cysts are tiny and there is higher risk of MORE damage if you try to drain them. They may go away on their own. Or not. He does NOT want to do surgery, due to age, time of recovery, having to be sedentary for too long, and the list goes on. I swear, if I hear "At your age" one more time.................................

Plus, I DO like him. He was very thorough and even did x rays, which I was grateful for. :)
