We let the camper go back yesterday. Making the payments out of savings for the most part and now savings are about gone. It was getting to be too much work to set up anyway.Hubs delivered to a Camper dealer at the bank's request. Better than going to a auction house.

:( Aww, so sorry Frannie. I'm sure it was getting harder to set up, but we know how you enjoyed your little trips. And so sorry about your savings, too. It's always something, huh? I hope things start looking up in all directions for you and hubs....

Too be honest more of the set up work was falling to me and I just didn't look forward to that one arrival day. The worst thing about it is it's the only vaca we could afford. But it is always something, isn't it? And life goes on. I'm more worried about hubs than I am about camping.

    G'mornin, snails...

Well, the couple of times I got to open my car's sunroof was nice; didn't have one on the two cars owned from '00 - '17. Doubtful I'll be able to open it for the rest of the month without being "uncomfortable" while driving. :p

    Bummer Fran.

:2c: on the way (You know me):
Buuut....You live in a very historic state and near others, Fran. Maybe a day-trip, mini vacay. Only gas and food and any tickets/admission fees. Maybe find something you and hubs have never seen while he's still cool to drive and not having major hip/back issue. Or even bus/car-rental.

GF and I went to Chicago. And a few Michigan spots. The biggest costs are lodging, check online for rates/package. But if you can do it in one day with no stayover it's a super win! And it's manageable size for DH, not much to lug around.

Recommend you stay away from Casinos, unless you have the willpower to go see a show or whatever and not gamble. Just because odds...they usually win. Buuutttt....sometimes they have shows and buses shuttling passengers, like to/from Keene.

Just some thoughts. You've probably already though about it, but much of it can be done similar to a long-distance going-out-to-eat. Not that I do that much anymore either.

Hubs has a small job of rear shocks. Just hope he doesn't make his back or hip hurt worse. Back is actually feeling good and hip just a tad sore. Hoping it stays that way. Headed out to see if I can be a bit of assistance.
