my own fault, frannie! i had 3 bags of mulch in the trunk and bent over at the waist to lift them out
Really isn't any good way to get them out of a trunk. Hope the back pain gets better...........morning, kat, dale and atty!

Looks like I may be shutting down for storms
We have a little cart type thingy that works well. Just slide them into cart and push like wheel barrow.
Sorta like this one:

Don't work if you have a regular deep trunk to lift them out of.
I keep a movers blanket in the trunk
When I have heavy stuff, I lay it over the edge of the car so instead of lifting it I drag until I can get it
