I still miss "Fido" (and humans that have passed too) and it's been years now. But you move on, with memories.

Yes, Atty, you move on, but, at your own pace. For me, my fur babies were my babies. I had no children. Plus, your fur babies are with you 24/7 and completely rely on you for their total care and love and affection. For me, the losses were and still are tremendous, for I love unconditionally. It does get easier with time, but that hurt never goes completely away. I'm sure you know that, as you talk a lot about Fido. And, I know we ALL know Tibs is still very raw from her loss. I wish our babies lived as long as us. And stayed healthy
