Thanks, Gracie. :) Gonna have to try that. I assume you recommend both the ointment and patches? And where to you rub and/or place the medicine?
Apply right on the pain location.I recommend the ointment for less severe pain.........I just put on the regular Salonpas (green package) and will put the gel-patch HOT on tonight (reddish package)
The picture on the right is the HOT one.........only the OT is showing.......sorry! :)

Thanks SO much. I've seen all the ads, but never knew if they worked, especially on sciatica. Will definitely give them a try, and, probably, the ointment, too. :)

Good morning Classy! Stay warm!! You need your fuzzies!

Hubs had appointment with his cancer dr this morning. He was sure the cancer had spread to his kidney because of the pain in his side. Dr says no.Wrong place for kidney pain.Says the pain is being caused by a crack in his pelvis that was found on an earlier xray. Never mentioned at the time because he had no pain.

    Monday:

I usually put dinner plates and bowls on the oven to warm them up
using the heat from cooking. Corelle. Monday, I stupidly turned on
    a wrong burner.

Know what happens when Corelle gets really REALLY hot???

It goes BOOM and shatters tiny shards of glass all over the room.

In this case, it was two bowls, nested. The top bowl JUMPED from
the burner onto the countertop (when the bottom one exploded).
It was hot enough to burn the surface and melt glass... before the
bottom of THAT bowl went BOOM.

    The bottom bowl:

    Tuesday:

Aquarium sprung a leak. Lost about 4 gallons (onto and into carpeting) before
I even noticed. Won't go into the scrambling to set up an emergency tank,
drain the main one, seal it up, let it cure, then putting everything back together
again and hope the fish make it through the whole thing.

Still have to put stuff away today. Looks like the fish are doing fine.

    Today:

    The above-mentioned snowstorm.

    Unhappy.

13" on the deck picnic table. Heavy and wet.

So much that did not get done before this mess. Leaves, gutters,
covering the rest of the deck furniture, etc etc etc.

    Unhappy.

    Cool Bear!

    New tank!
    New counters!
    AND....
    New deck furniture!

    No...

Repaired old tank but will be looking at what's available these-days for
    when the next leak happens.

Covering burn/molten glass with a nice (new and not-to-be-used) cutting
board until I know options for replacing ONLY the counter that was ruined.
    15"x25" plus 4" backsplash.

The snow will melt and I can get the rest of the stuff covered.

Just a 1-2-3 punch... what's next? Boils? Pestilence? Locusts? Frogs?
