    Poor Dale.

Also, maybe it's good that you and DH get a rest Fran, and less hectic if the two of you can do dinner in your own schedule!

    Good morning Kat.
Nope, the GF is making one. I'm not a huge turkey fan anyway, but if I did make one, I'd probably just cook a turkey breast if the crowd is small. I'd have tons of fun with all the sides though.

As it is, GF is doing the turkey+stuffing and potatoes and pie. Maybe rolls. We're bringing sweet potatoes, green bean casserole (IDK how that happened) and some mixed fruit salad stuff.

GF's son is doing "Pumpkin moon pies" for dessert or something. His gal is traveling this season with her mom, so she won't be there I guess.

The grand kid and his GF are...probably just showing up (which is great/fine)...if they're bringing anything IDK what it is.

I'm not sure what Mom's "normal" sweet potato recipe is exactly, but I'm going to wing it. There's 1000's of them on the net. It's tragic but funny in a way, that she doesn't remember having candied sweet potatoes (she used to make them). So for her it's all new in a way. Sometimes I think she just doesn't quite "connect" to it, but will later remember eating them. Sometimes not. :(
