I moved some furniture around a bit and put some old sheets around the door. I don't think I will be going to walk outside 12 feet to get the mail today.

Bear, were you "hacked" or did you sign up as one of those that were not hacked, but offered free protection/monitoring anyway?

Good thinking, I think. :thumb: I checked their Q&A page and found this:
While Equifax committed to providing TrustedID Premier free for one year to everyone in the United States, we extended the additional credit monitoring service through Experian for those TrustedID Premier subscribers whose information was impacted by the cybersecurity incident.

@SilverBear FWIW, I was on their victims list.

Hello, Snails. I believe that Minnesota is actually colder than Mars today. Bundle up and stay indoors!

A "known" victim?... or a "possible" victim?

I try to keep my STUFF on the 'net locked up tighter than a <insert your favourite
    tasteless and crude analogy here
    >. I believe my involvement in that Equifax thing
was only "possible". So, they dumped the dead wood.

I was on the list we were supposed to check after the breach--how the list was titled, I don't remember. But my name was on it so I immediately signed up for credit monitoring.
