And a "Good Tuesday" to everybody in here.

We kept power and landline and no major tree damage on property.
Guess the official highest gust was about 74mph, but the entire
"bomb cyclone" lasted 30 hours. I am not a big fan of windstorms
(so much can happen), so did not sleep very well Sunday night. I
never knew CBS had news in the wee hours (eg: 3am).

Have yet to take a tour around the outside of the house to check
siding and shingles and things. Later today.

I mentioned "landline" above. Hubs' has not worked (dead air) since
Friday. Strange, too, because it's the one DSL comes through.

But maybe not THAT strange. It's obvious the problem is NOT a
physical wire. It's something at the switching station. We have
been through this before. And before that. And before that as
well.

When he called to report it, the customer dis-service person started
to walk him down the Troubleshooting Path. You know... try this,
try that, try another thing. It was Friday... after work... and he was
having NONE of that fol de rol. (I just slunk back to the kitchen to
work on dinner.)

Supposedly will be repaired today. Wanna bet?... If his phone is still
flashing "no line" around come-home time, I'm steering clear. :)

<<< Just giving that storm the stink-eye and stank-face to keep away.

WEDNESDAY, you know.

Last Wednesday, a 25-minute drive home from Dad's took just under 90 minutes.
Here... let me add to the "Wednesday" thing, yet again...

Tomorrow, Dad has TWO doctor appointments. Not just one... two.
