Update as follows;
Friday, I went in for double hernia surgery, everything went well. Came home that afternoon.
Have been living in track pants and hoodie since then, while in my recliner. Bending to get in or out of the bed was NOT a doable option.
This morning is first of not feeling as if a bus was parked on top of me. Actually feeling pretty good this AM, just a bit frustrated since I am not one to sit around doing nothing all day.
Update as follows;

I can understand your frustration but you need to bear with it til the dr gives you an ok.

For the results I am after, I have NO choice but to follow the DR's orders,
This is not my idea of a vacation, but have to take this in order to go back to being able to turn wrenchs(which I love doing).

Which date will they pick for Dad's pacemaker surgery?
(Because: March 7 is a rescheduled-from-January dentist appointment, and the April 3 and 4
dates are other appointments scheduled about 2 YEARS ago.) (YEARS!)
