Good morning,dale
Well that and those of us still working are forced out of bed in the wee hours of the morning![]()
i imagine most people feel the same - can't take advantage of the 'light' when you're at work and stuck there no matter whatI'll take the extra hour of light on the backside.
Good morning AttyThat's the thing. I don't need it to get light at 6 am. Let 6 am be 7 am and I'll take the extra hour of light on the backside...so it stays light "later". By setting our clocks forward we shift our schedule to be an hour earlier, thus preserving (saving) the daylight for the drive home.
And if you read the article, that's what it's all about. It was pushed by department stores trying to get shoppers in before dark.![]()
But it's still convenient if for no other reason than keeping the light longer before bedtime. Of course, in the summer it doesn't really matter anyway since it's light so late, but in the spring and fall, why not? Guess I'm just not much of a morning person.
Good morning.![]()
Me too. Good morning,MaryI prefer a permanent switch to DST. I hate long dark winter evenings.
