it's been ages since i've stopped by there but kept it in my 'watched threads' and hence stumbled across this sad bit of news this morning

Windy and snowy.....no smell of Spring today!!!
Got to visit with my best friend. That's always nice. She has a really bad back, but I can't get her to get an MRI or see a Neuro or Ortho doc. She has been to chiropractor, which she never believed in before, and they pretty much soaked her for, at least, $1500. and she is no better. She is 6ft tall, weighs 105 lbs., eats like a horse, but now she bends over some just to walk around. We've been friends for 50 years. Hate to see her like that. But sure love her company.

Walked out my daughters front door this morning and for the first time I didn't freeze stepping out in the morning. Got to upper 50's with afternoon rain. Turns cold again tomorrow in the 30's again.At least we'll see sun.
