The kidney surgery was April 2017, I believe. If I actually READ THE BOOK (a
Christmas gift last year), I'll find out.

One of the "senior dentists" came in to do the usual after-cleaning checkup.
He's deaf, so the hygienist and he were signing (but she was speaking as she
signed so I would know what was going on). She said, along the way, "it's
a Christmas scent" followed by "it'll be stronger if I unplug it". APPARENTLY,
the dentist requested that she unplug the Glade (or whatever brand) snowflake
plugin because it was obnoxious-smelling.

When we were done (and he had left), I said in a low voice that it smelled good
and screwed up my face as if to indicate "what's HIS problem???". She flipped
a double-bird in his general direction and said she was just going to plug it back
in. We both had a good laugh about it. She's cool like that!
