Did I say "they correlate"? Nope. All I concluded was "interesting".

One COULD postulate that both are different measurements of sociological concern and "progress". The HC thing being ages and ages old, and the internet being new. If one were to do, which until this post, I didn't do. ;)

The second deck "company" coming to give a quote on Tuesday. Probably
just wasting his and my time. The phone conversation did not provide
much hope. A number of "things"... such as his/their preference to use
solid stain (I want semi-transparent)... some hemming and hawing when
I mentioned the small repair items... and his mentioning that I would be
#9 on their list for deck work. His estimate of late June / early July would
mean everything off of the deck and around it (that would include all
the hanging pots), plus they'll have to deal with stuff that is growing in
the surrounding raised gardens by that time.

I may just have to do my usual stuff again this year, and then start calling
people in SEPTEMBER this year for work to be done in Spring 2021.

Sigh.

Before I left for Dad's, I wrote a note that says: "I will empty the dishwasher".

I come home to an empty dishwasher.

See, the word "rotate" does not exist in Hub's World Of Wacky. Clean/new stuff
can be placed ONLY "on top" or "in front". :glare:  Never, EVER, "on bottom" or
"in back".

So... off to the flatware drawer, the everyday dishes cabinet and coffee mug
shelf I go. It'll be a guessing game, but maybe stuff is still warm from the dry
cycle.
