Whatever happened to the old traditional Hartz Catnip Mouse?!?! We've
all seen them. TRY finding one at - oh, say - PetCo... or PetsMart...
or large-chain grocers. You won't. Cat toys now require batteries and,
apparently, no longer can CONTAIN catnip (if you actually READ the label).
I've seen not ONE "catnip ball" or "catnip fish" or "catnip anything" among
the vast displays. There are "catnip SCENTED" toys... yeah... those will
last a long time.
I mention this because Clair/Claire/Clare's previous home had one and
was her favourite toy (per her owner). But she could not find it when I
was there to take C/C/C. So I've been trying to find one - just ONE -
at stores. Nope. Even Amazon does not have any.
I'll send a note to her previous owner to please look around for it and
pass it along to Hus at work. I give up. (Or, she could tell me where
she bought it... it appears rather new.) (I'll bet she says "Wal*Mart".)

This KONG Squirrel Refillable Catnip Cat Toy has withstood numerous repeated thrashings, but requires "coarse" catnip or else it just leaks through the weave of the fabric.
