I tried the long sandpaper-like strips way way back in time. I still recall the work in
removing them without damaging the enamel. Never again.
Bath mats with suction-cup bottoms work just fine, thank you. buy 2 and have a
spare. Most can be machine-washed (I toss mine in with towels for a scrubbing
effect, on "hot") and last quite a while.
He missed 5 breakfasts not too long ago, so I will NOT mention Oreo missing 2 the
last couple of days.

I tried plenty of times in the past (early in his history here) to trap. No joy.
But he also did not appear UNneutered, if you catch my drift. So, I just kind
of let it go. Never saw/smelled spray. Never seen him hunt.
Now I don't feel all that great if he's out there siring offspring.
let's hope the boy knows what he's doing i know i have tom cats around here - tommy twice went out in the morning and came back with scratches - no idea what they expect to find, all my girls are fixed and i don't remember this from last year
