Happy "1 Degree Away From 50" Sunday to all.

I did my Dad's grocery shopping at the place which has not "banned" plastic
yet and used the self checkout. Only 6 items, but used all 3 bag "stations"
just so I could surreptitiously empty all three spindles of all bags. They will
have literally 10s of 1000s of them left over after Saturday midnight, which
they will no longer be able to provide. So, why not help them use up their
stock? It'll keep me in kitty litter cleanout bags for a while. They overcharge
for groceries, anyway.


Proud?... not really. Ashamed?... no. :)

    ...and ...the cost of those bags are already built into the cost of the groceries.
    Anybody think they provide the bags out of the goodness of their hearts?

    Oh and by the way., Tibs. Wegmans is apparently rolling out sef-checkouts in a
    bunch more stores very soon. You should read some of the comments in the
    local FB group about THAT!!! :facepalm: ing myself until my face literally bleeds.
