Friday Salutations of Quality and Distinction!

..........

At almost 70 degrees, I should be outdoors doing some leaf cleanup. But the
forecast is for winds ramping up in a couple hours. 60+mph So, that would
just ruin any work out there. Why bother?

..........

Hallmark eCards changed their (renewal) pricing. 2014 it was $12/year. 2018
it changed to $30/year. Now, it's monthly-only @ $5 per. $60/year. .....es
and .......s. Don't THINK so. Other choices out there.

..........

Took down the bird feeders due to forecast wind. Scattered a lot on the patio
and lawn to tide them over.

..........

Just rambling here.

..........

Hubs continues to go off to work. Says they have been COMPLETELY silent about
the workforce mandate. Not a peep. He "claims" they are "essential", therefore
nothing NEEDS to be said.

...........

Almost time for noon local news. Back later!

You're totally cross posting. I'm only doing one set of "likes" (really 'funny')...except that first one. Because double-like (funny).
GOD FORBID you should hand out VIRTUAL "likes" or "funny"s!!! Are they charging for them now???

Is your checking account being DEBITED for them?!?!

JHCA.

Two "big ticket" Spring/Summer things: new picnic table umbrella and new propane grill.

Those "crank" umbrellas... eventually, the pully system fails. The rope/cable, specifically.
So, I've been looking at the ones with EXTERNAL cabling. Q: What do you do with the
rope/cable when raising the umbrella? Does it just coil onto the tabletop? Nice!!!
Unless the hole in the table is enlarged, there's no place for the extra stuff to go. Oh...
and none of those umbrellas have a "tilt" function.

First-World problems, huh?

Grill: Decided on a Weber. UNdecided if two-burner or three. Both come with on-site
assembly, but will probably do it myself (based on reviews of attempting to schedule pro
services). We do not NEED 3 burners. But if I go with 2, I will regret it at some point.

Another 1st-World problem.

WTFrack?

IGrill3 ready? SOLD SEPARATELY? For that price?

Are you sure?

P.S. Why doesn't ECF do superscripts?
I/we do not need "i" anything. I want a GRILL. I would never pay for "i" ability.

As far as "are you sure"... yes, I'm sure. One does get what they pay for.

The Char-Broil lasted 14 years. It was not that much cheaper BACK THEN.

I keep things a LONG time, so cost/year sorta-kinda flattens out.

#SQUISHTHECURVE or whatever.

It looks pretty sturdy, has a 10 year warranty. I'd say, although it's not stainless...they can rot out too...it's not bad looking and if you only need 2 burners check the per-burner BTU's and surface area and if it's enough, save some cash and go with the two for the two of you.

But that's just my :2c:

I suppose the other argument is that if you have company and want more surface area, you'll regret not having the 3 burners. You can always keep one (or even two) off.
