:( hope the bank will straighten this out for you asap!
Well, there's a "process" for this.

The transactions are pending, so they post them, then I have to call back tomorrow and dispute them.
Oy.
But they cancelled and reissued the card. 5-7 days. This being Thursday, Maybe by Monday.

And the good news is my car insurance posted before all this crap happened. So that's good. IDK if hulu will get its money this month (depends on timing)...but they'll get it eventually.

I just hope to God I'm not on the hook for this. I don't anticipate that being so.

That happened years ago too, and I was able to dispute it.

But I'll never know how the crooks got the number.

I suspect small-time ecig-dealers, but I've only used one recently. Or ECF itself since I renewed recently (but I doubt that), or maybe turbotax or best buy, or a few other vendors. Those are the only "non standard" transactions in the last month or so.

Some others were paypal, so unless they've had a breach, I don't suspect it's them.

    Grrrr.

Post office, pharmacy, store, accomplished. Forgot to give the cashier the "store club" card, but that's probably just as well, as germs are worse than missing a few bucks of discounts I suppose. Meh.

Mom's a trooper even if she can't remember much and gets all confused. She has to stay in the car when I go into the store. That's dangerous sort of, but her going in is probably more dangerous. She's belted in, and doors are locked. Quick run into store. Best I can do in these circumstances. I don't suggest a mask for her except as a last resort, better not to expose her at all to situations where a mask would be used.

Now dinner, dishes, and another perpetual load of laundry. And I'm good for the day.

    Flyby. Hi snails.
