No excuse for me today for not getting outside in the garden, but feeling lazy...a bit tired cause did some major heavy cleaning yesterday, furniture moved, cleaned out drawers and some other piddily stuff! My back was not happy!

Peonies are starting to open

mine have been blooming for days already and the old-fashioned peony in my earlier pic is almost done sure would like to know what kind of iris you have that bloomed so much earlier than my varieties!

Iris’ are all done and dying back. Remind me next year and I’ll send you a picture

I have my ice water and tiny glass of gingerale and I'm headed. Gonna have to shut the window in my room now cause it's cooling down or it's just the breeze. 40's. for overnight anyway.

wish you were closer - i got to divide my clumps come august pinks are real pretty this year with lots of blooms, fewer on the reds
