Power went off around 8:40ish pm last night. Didn't come on until 10:00 am and I couldn't get the generator started this am.
Groan
But the freezer is full full full of frozen stuff so I'm hoping all is OK. No meat in the fridge to worry about.

It's veterans day, so they have a light crew working too I suppose. First they said power would be on at 8:30 am (that was the first time I checked). Then they said 2:15 pm. Came on at 10:00ish but didn't have internet yet. Internet is (obviously) working now. House only got down to 65, so not too bad.
Oy.

Your freezer food will be fine, it did come back on right? I check mine after a power failure to make sure the surge didn’t blow something.

Well, things are moving right along with our Snails, and that's a good thing...Abby is much better this morning, and I never thought I'd be so joyous when she ate an entire dog biscuit this morning. Naturally, we'll continue with the a/biotics. Yesterday I opened a can of chicken breast in water, and gave her some of that.....sort of interested, but not really....today, a different story, had to put half of it away for later......so making some headway.....
Atty, glad your power didn't last long enough to defrost your freezer........I remember one year (2004) we had a hurricane and our power was out for a week...we were newbies, and didn't know the rule about only buying a weeks worth of meats during hurricane season..we had to toss plenty that year...since then, we've got a freezer in our garage and we're seasoned.
