Like to have never gone to sleep last night, finally got back up and took the other half of a sleeping pill so that’s why I’m so late Atty

GF called and her nat gas isn't working for some reason. Gas company called. But she has a CV-19 test to go to. So I have to go over there and house-sit and wait for the damn gas company to show up.

Bills are paid up to date. No outages reported.
Weird.
She's in a duplex-condo though, so IDK if that means anything. IDK about her adjoining neighbor's gas.

What a PITA Atty, hate waiting for service people and even worse it’s not on your own account

IDK.... I mean....the whole neighborhood was out. So something was up.

They had little gas-line guys running to all the duplex condos turning them all back on (assume regulators tripped). So maybe someone cut a gas line at some point somewhere.

But it's back now. And stuff is reset at her place.

I didn't have to stay, it was reset before she had to leave. So I'm glad I brought some other stuff with me to deal with mom-stuff, since I was going to be near where I needed to go anyway. And I picked up lunch. And it's a sunny day. So a win over all. Got me moving.

Update: DTE said it was an equipment malfunction, and they've got the majority of the 530 people impacted restored this afternoon. Others may take a bit I guess, they set up shelters and are helping with hotel stays.

GF is good to go, everything is working, she hasn't tried the dryer yet.
