Hey Dale, y’all may have already tried it, and not sure they are even available anywhere, but last time I replaced our elements I used one called a sanddodger, only thing a quick search brought up was a sand hog, it looks about the same so may be rebranded? Long winded way of saying I hope I’m not jinxing myself, but it’s been over 20 years since I’ve replaced one, in a 42 yr old water heater..
